Equine Assisted Psychotherapy

In Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy, the therapist, horse-professional and horse work with the client in a natural outdoor setting with various activities, primarily ground work, to work through client psychological issues. Little Creek Farm is the host setting for the programs of EquiHeart, an EAP (Equine Assisted Psychotherapy) practice founded by Mary Ellen Connett, M.S., LMFT, of Columbus, GA.

· Clients experience break throughs not seen in the traditional office setting.

· The horse is used as the focal point of the therapy with the client.
