Riding Lessons

We offer riding lessons for the beginner of all ages. We begin with ground work to  build the relationship between the horse and rider.  We combine techniques and approaches influenced by Anne Utsey, GaWaNi Pony Boy,  Monty Roberts, Buck Brannaman, and Tom and Bill Durrance, to name a few. Basic riding skills are taught. We start with bareback riding and then use saddles. The rider progresses to the point where they can ride safely in many situations at a canter while bareback. Further advanced riding techniques  are referred to a specialist.

· We instruct the rider in all aspects of the horse.

· We start with ground work and leader training to build confidence in the student.

· We believe in making the learning experience fun and rewarding.

· Our horses are Morgans who are peaceful and gentle warm bloods.
