About Us

Cathy Buglioli has lifelong experience working with horses. She has owned Little Creek Farm since 2000, where she has boarded horses, given riding lessons, hosted youth horseback riding camps, trained horses, and worked with a family therapist in conducting Equine Assisted Psychotherapy sessions.

Cathy has 9 years experience as a professional teacher. She was involved with the Springer Opera House in Columbus for 10 years in various capacities including the position of Production Stage Manager.  Her love of horses, however, continues to lead her on a Horseman’s Journey.

Cathy's riding and training philosophies have been heavily influenced by the techniques taught by GaWaNi Pony Boy, Buck Brannaman, Monty Roberts, Mark Rashid, Tom and Bill Dorrance, Linda Kasanov and Greg Kersten, the founder of EAGALA.  Her Aunt Anne is the one who laid the foundation.

Cathy also has three children’s books published under her maiden name, Catherine Bristow.  They can be ordered through the farm’s email address.

Cathy's husband Mike works for AFLAC and is involved with the technical aspects of Little Creek Farm.  His knowledge and experience with horses continues to grow.

Cathy and Mike are the parents of 3 and have seven grandchildren.
